Four Elements Trainer, is a captivating game inspired by the Avatar series. According to the developer, our hero is transported into an alternate universe where characters have matured and are of “legal age”. That means only one thing… That players are in for a treat.
Let’s dive into the review of Four Elements Trainer
Comedy in the game is masterfully executed, without overshadowing the sexy stuff and the story. It’s has a delightful balance that feels natural and never forced. The humor simply flows, adding a layer of charm to this experience.
Moving on to the story, it is also amazing! The premise of being a time-traveler thrown into specific scenarios from an uncertain future makes perfect sense in the game. The game explores the concept of time with finesse, showcasing how certain pivotal events remain constant despite any meddling.
Take Toph’s route, for instance. In the route, crucial historical moments unfold regardless of your actions, offering a thought-provoking perspective on time manipulation immersing you in the experience.
In terms of gameplay, Four Elements Trainer is enjoyable like most other trainer adult games.
But in this one each book introduces unique minigames, demonstrating the developers’ dedication and passion. The hunting and fighting mechanics are straightforward yet effective, providing an engaging little challenge. However, there may still be some shortcomings like for example Book 3’s scam minigame due to its complexity. And for this one following the Four Elements Trainer Book 3 walkthrough could help!
The real reason we play – CGs
The visuals, the scenes, the animation and the art style overall are great in my opinion and remind me a of a simpler “Witch Trainer” aesthetic. The art captures the essence of the original series flawlessly and scenes have a nice simplicity to them while not losing sexiness. I am not an art aficionado but it’s undeniable that the visuals are a highlight of the game.
Any bad stuff?
Only downside I found, is not a limitation within the game but more of an issue that all “Trainer” games may encounter. In some instances the game can get repetitive. For example you may have killed 1000 bulls and still have the heroine telling you ” do more to help the village”.
To avoid this though you can follow any of the walkthroughs found on our website. (Book 1 Guide, Book 2 Guide, Book 3 Guide).
However, the ability of two distinct routes (Love Route & Slave Route) per book adds a layer of replayability, injecting freshness into subsequent playthroughs.
Is it worth it?
In conclusion, Four Elements Trainer is a standout game that’s sure to captivate fans of hand-drawn, cartoonish trainer games. With its blend of humor, engaging storyline, and varied gameplay, it’s an experience worth diving into. So, if you’re intrigued by 2D adventures and can overlook the occasional urinary humor (or are interested in it), don’t hesitate to give Four Elements Trainer a try!
